Not only does the 2010 bring the Olympics and the world to Canada, it also marks the 100th anniversary of the Ottawa Ski Club founding. This centennial provides Ottawa and Gatineau families a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our skiing past and to strengthen the future of the sport in region and at Camp Fortune. The spirit and history of the former Ottawa Ski Club and their passion for skiing live on in the new Camp Fortune Ski Club. The club remains a non-profit volunteer run organization now focused primarily on providing high quality alpine ski race development programs, delivered in French and English to Quebec and Ontario children aged 7-19 years. The centennial celebration and reunion dinner is planned for October 23, 2010 at Camp Fortune. The Centennial Organizing Committee is a joint initiative between the Canadian Ski Museum and Camp Fortune Ski Club. We have the support of the Sudermann family who operate Camp Fortune ski area. The members of the Centennial Organizing Committee includes: Robin Cushnie, Kelly Gaon, Michael Grimes, Jennifer G., Ivo Krupka, Teddie Laframboise, David Mains, Julie Murphy, Dan Oakes, Jolanta Skirzynski, Penny Wieser VISIT FACEBOOK : OSC 100 Anniversary The celebration is a volunteer initiative.
